Hub Helper Harry is an AI-powered chatbot. You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not a human.
All responses are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI models via their commercial API. While Harry is designed to be helpful and conversational, it is not a person and does not have feelings, opinions, or consciousness. Responses may sometimes sound confident but be inaccurate.
This disclosure is provided in accordance with emerging AI transparency requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including California's AI Transparency Act.
We collect only what we need to provide the Service:
When you sign up, we collect your name and email address through Clerk (our authentication provider). We do not manage passwords directly — Clerk handles all credential storage and authentication securely on their infrastructure.
If you are signed in, your chat messages and Harry's responses are saved so you can access them later. You can delete any conversation at any time. Deleted conversations are permanently removed from our database.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Clerk. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (e.g., which plan you are on), but we never see, receive, or store your credit card number, bank account details, or full payment information. All payment data lives exclusively with Clerk's payment infrastructure.
We track message counts per billing period to enforce plan limits. We collect basic server logs (request timestamps, error logs) for operational purposes. These logs do not contain the content of your conversations.
If you submit feedback or corrections through the Service, that content is stored to help improve response quality. Feedback is not linked to your personal identity unless you voluntarily include identifying information in the feedback text.
We do not use your data for any purpose other than what is listed above. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models, build marketing profiles, or for any secondary commercial purpose.

When you send a message to Harry, it is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Here is exactly what happens:
To power semantic search (finding relevant answers from our knowledge base), we use OpenAI's Embeddings API (model: text-embedding-3-small) to convert text into numerical vectors. Here is exactly what happens:

OpenAI returns a numerical vector (a list of numbers) — not text, not a response, just a mathematical representation used to find similar content in our knowledge base.To be clear: OpenAI never sees Harry's responses to you, your conversation history, or your account information. They receive only the isolated text of individual queries for the sole purpose of generating a search vector.

No system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users promptly and take immediate steps to mitigate the impact.
We use the following third-party services to operate Hub Helper Harry. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and terms:

We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers. We do not use third-party analytics services — any operational metrics we collect (such as message counts and error rates) are stored in our own database and never shared externally.

Hub Helper Harry is a professional tool designed for adults who work with HubSpot. The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
If you are between 13 and 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.
Your data is processed and stored in the United States. Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Clerk, Vercel, and Anthropic) operate primarily from U.S.-based data centers. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data will be stored and processed in the United States.
