Hub Helper Harry is an AI-powered chatbot. When you use this Service, you are communicating with an artificial intelligence system, not a human being.
All responses are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI models. Harry does not have consciousness, emotions, or independent judgment. Responses are generated based on patterns in training data and the knowledge base we provide.
This disclosure is provided in accordance with AI transparency requirements, including those under California's AI Transparency Act (effective 2026) and similar state laws requiring clear disclosure when consumers interact with AI systems.
Hub Helper Harry is an AI-powered assistant that helps users with HubSpot-related questions. The Service uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses based on a curated knowledge base of HubSpot documentation and resources, supplemented by web search when needed.

Account registration and authentication is provided by Clerk, a third-party identity provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your account with others.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

Responses from Hub Helper Harry are generated by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. AI systems can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect information — a phenomenon commonly known as "hallucination."
You assume full responsibility for how you use AI-generated outputs. We are not liable for any consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
When you use the Service, your messages are processed by two AI providers:
Your messages and recent conversation context are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses.
To find relevant answers from our knowledge base, we use OpenAI's Embeddings API to convert your query into a numerical search vector. This is a mathematical operation, not a conversation — OpenAI does not generate any text responses.

The Service, including its codebase, branding, design, and user interface, is owned by the operator. You retain ownership of the content you submit (your messages and inputs).
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of providing the Service (i.e., generating AI responses and storing your conversations).
Regarding AI-generated outputs: the legal status of copyright over AI-generated content remains unsettled. We make no claims regarding your ownership rights over AI-generated content, and we do not claim ownership of it either. You are free to use Harry's responses for your own purposes, subject to these terms.
Saved conversations are stored for authenticated users so you can revisit them later. You can delete your conversations at any time. Deleted conversations are permanently removed from our database.
Important: do not enter passwords, API keys, access tokens, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or other highly sensitive information into the chat. While your conversations are stored securely, the AI processing pipeline involves third-party data transmission that is outside of our direct control.
The Service offers a free tier with limited usage and paid subscription tiers with higher limits. Payment processing is handled entirely by Clerk. By subscribing, you agree to Clerk's Terms for payment processing.
We strive to keep the Service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (Anthropic, Clerk, Supabase, Vercel) that may experience outages beyond our control.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes that affect your ability to use the Service.
The Service integrates with third-party providers, each with their own terms and privacy policies. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy:

THE SERVICE RELIES ON THIRD-PARTY INFRASTRUCTURE AND AI MODELS THAT MAY CHANGE, DEGRADE, OR BECOME UNAVAILABLE WITHOUT NOTICE TO US.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: (a) your misuse of the Service, (b) your violation of these terms, (c) your violation of any third-party rights, or (d) any content you submit to the Service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts located in the State of Ohio.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you violate these terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service, other users, or third parties.
You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your saved data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including: Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. They supersede any prior agreements or communications regarding the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the Service at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Minor clarifications or formatting changes that do not affect your rights will be made without notice.
